I created this sound bit with Audacity. I recorded myself using the sink, throwing something away, putting something in the toaster, and microwaving something. Then I completely distorted it and created an echo. Let me know if you can tell what’s what!
For this assignment I manipulated a speech from the democratic party in 1919. I added crowds cheering, changed the pitch and added a duplicate clip that reversed the pitch on top. I used audacity to create this, and I downloaded the clip from Wikipedia.
For this assignment I used Audacity to manipulate the sound of a pen clicking. I created an echo and changed the speed and pitch to make it sound completely different than the original. Crazy what a little bit of editing can do!
